Hands-on training is at the heart of a Cleveland education
At Cleveland University-Kansas City, your health care education starts with real health care experiences. When you’re a CUKC student, true hands-on exposure begins in your very first trimester. Our technique courses are the backbone of the chiropractic curriculum and patient care is its heart.
Making a difference through care and treatment
Cleveland University-Kansas City students are educated not only to manage conditions, but also to care for people. They focus on medical techniques and make recommendations about exercise, diet and lifestyle. Our health care curriculum strikes a balance between wellness, philosophy, science, tradition and innovation.
Student clinical experiences
The University's Health Center is a primary source of health care for many people in the Kansas City area. With thousands of patient visits each year, you will benefit from a wealth of clinical experiences. You can also participate in programs at the Veterans Administration Hospital and the Kansas City CARE Clinic, one of the largest community health clinics in the country. These programs provide real-world health care experience while you're still in school. Following graduation, you can work side-by-side with a field doctor in Cleveland's nationwide preceptorship program.
making a lasting impact on health care
For more than nine decades, Cleveland University-Kansas City has been the place to learn the science, philosophy and art of chiropractic. More than one in every 10 chiropractors practicing in North America is a Cleveland graduate. CUKC is the only chiropractic college continuing under the leadership of a founding family member.
