Dr. Carl S. Cleveland III is a fourth-generation doctor of chiropractic and a member of a chiropractic pioneering family. He is the current president of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges and past president of the Council on Chiropractic Education.

In March 2007, Dr. Globe was appointed by the Medical Director for the California Division of Workers’ Compensation as part of a 17 member medical evidence valuation advisory committee to provide recommendations to the Medical Director on matters concerning the medical treatment utilization schedule.

  • Responsible for the general welfare of the College and assists with the integration of Multicampus Vice Presidents planning, policies and procedures into the College community;
  • Represent, as designated by President, the College to appropriate external groups and individuals, especially those with whom the faculty is likely to interact;

  • Report directly to and advises College President and Vice President for Academic Services.
  • Serve as chief administrative officer in absence of president. Develop academic           policies and programs for college

  • Monitor institution’s effectiveness in achieving its mission, goals and objectives and utilize the obtained information for continuous quality improvement.
  • Track institutional performance against a wide range of benchmarks; synthesize and present findings.

In June 2007, Dr. Hawk was appointed co-chair of the Research Commission of the Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters (CCGPP). In 2001 she won the Distinguished Service Award from the Chiropractic Health Care Section of the American Public Health Association. In 2003 she was named “Researcher of the Year” by the American Chiropractic Association and the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research named her “Researcher of the Year” in 2005.

Responsibilities: Administer the D.C., B.S., and A.A. degree program.
 
After practicing in Leavenworth, KS for 15 years, Dr. Sandefur came to Cleveland College part-time and taught courses in the Diagnosis department. She was interested in Research, and worked in that department until 1998, when she became Academic Dean. She was named Vice President of Academic Services in 2003. Dr. Sandefur has published a small number of scholarly publications, and is working on a novel. She loves many kinds of music and has a large CD collection. Movies are her hobby.
