Back to school and I’m already facing a crisis! My wife started school here at Cleveland. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited to see her around every day. The problem is that we are very competitive. The first thing I hear is how she’s gonna get better grades than me. That’s just not fair. She’s a better student already and has her bachelor's in science (mine is in accounting). I want to do all I can to help her succeed in her classes, but if it’s gonna get rubbed in my face, what’s the point?
In the grand scheme of things we will be practicing together. Grade cards won't matter. I can stomach defeat in the classroom for now, but the basketball court will be mine.
