I haven't always liked babies, I have always preferred children who can talk to me and tell me what they need. But last March and again this November I became an aunt and my perspective changed!
As I have spent time with my niece and nephew I have realized how wonderful babies are and I also realized that I really have a passion for little ones. That's why I am so excited that the ICPA seminars are coming to Cleveland. Pregnant mothers and children need chiropractic care just as much as adults do and yet most people don't think this group of people can be treated by a chiropractor.
As a profession we need to spread the word that chiropractic care is not only safe for expecting mothers and children but that it is also beneficial to their overall health. We must also remember that "pediatric" doesn't just mean babies, but includes pregnant mothers and teenagers. So, if this age group interests you I would suggest that you look into the ICPA seminars. I can't wait for them to begin!
