The last couple of weeks were busy for everyone. Last week was Spring Break here, which meant some students were busy relaxing. Many students, however, were putting in their final hours studying for their National Board exams that they took this past weekend.

Last week a few administrators, faculty and a student attended the Association of Chiropractic Colleges/Research Agenda Conference. It is a fantastic conference where representatives from all chiropractic colleges meet and share about educational and clinical topics. Cleveland Chiropractic College had many posters and presentations at the conference, and they were received well.

This week our senior interns took their Clinic Exit Examination. All chiropractic classes were canceled on this day to allow all faculty members to participate in the administration of this lengthy exam. The day is always filled with nerves and excitement: the students are nervous, and the examiners are excited to see the students excel!

This is a multi-station exam, which encompasses practical stations with simulated patients and follow-up written stations. Welcome to my new blog! As a relatively new member of the Cleveland Chiropractic College campus, I am excited to share my experiences here with you. I am one of two deans for the chiropractic program. I will explain more about my specific responsibilities in a future post.
