4. Does stress drive me or make me freak out?
Some people thrive on tight deadlines and constant pressure. For others, stress is a slow poison that will rob them of all happiness. Decide where you fit in. Do you need excitement and drama or a more relaxed environment to be productive?
5. Do I like a flexible schedule or enjoy the 8-5 grind?
A constant schedule works well for some, but others want flexibility. Certain careers will allow you to virtually set your hours while others necessitate a rigid routine.
6. What kind of space do I enjoy?
Large, busy office buildings downtown may be a dream for some. Others seek a calmer, smaller space. Certain professions are more flexible than others. Some even allow you to stay mobile. If you are self-employed, you are obviously going to have the most flexibility with your environment.
7. How much money do I want to earn?
Making big bucks is a big deal for some, while others are just happy to be able to support themselves. The variety of careers today offers a wide range of salaries. Only your education, time, and desire to succeed will limit your potential.
