On Dec. 2 students and faculty grabbed a chance to throw a pie at a few good sports. The event, the brainchild of SACA Vice President Jeff Campbell, began with open voting for the top two faculty and top two students. Votes cost $1 and all proceeds benefit SACA and the annual trip to the National Chiropractic Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C.
“The pie-in-the-face competition was meant to be a fun end-of-the-trimester event to bring students and faculty together for a good laugh,” SACA President Jessica Tallman said. “I believe the event accomplished just that! This was our first time hosting the event, and we hope to make it bigger and better next year.”
Tallman gave a special thank you to Dr. Steve Agocs, Dr. William Tuttle, Lyndsay Andrews and Andy Dunlap “for sacrificing their faces for a bit of good cheer!” The four good sports were presented with a complimentary apple pie to take home after the event.
