Hello, I've been with Cleveland University-Kansas City since 1992, and I am currently the director of admissions. I graduated from Kansas State University with a communications, marketing and public relations degree and made the move from Manhattan, Kan., to the Northland in Kansas City to begin my position as an admissions advisor at Cleveland. Today, I manage a team of admissions advisors that work hard to educate and inform a variety of audiences about the University, as well as chiropractic and the health sciences. They enjoy working with students and their families during the admissions process, and they welcome any questions you may have about transitioning to Overland Park and becoming a part of the Cleveland family.

I am super excited to be a part of such a great admissions team, and I look forward to talking with and assisting you throughout your time here at Cleveland.
Hello! I am Angela Hughes, and I am an admissions advisor for Cleveland University-Kansas City. I am a hometown girl and the first time I lived away from home was when I went to college in Jefferson City, MO at Lincoln University, where I graduated with a B.S. degree in liberal arts and history. Beyond that, I also have a Masters of Arts in organizational leadership. I have been in higher education since 2007 and my motto is “Education is one thing that can never be taken away from you.” I am a wife, a mom, a granddaughter, a daughter, a big sister, a niece and a cousin. I have a large family and we are very close, and outside of a few close friends, family makes up my friend circle. Hello, my name is Amy Strathman and I am an admissions advisor for Cleveland University-Kansas City. I graduated in 1991 from the University of Kansas with a B.S. degree in education, majoring in exercise science. Kansas City has always been my home, and I think the Midwest is an excellent place to live, work and raise a family. I have known chiropractic my entire life. I received my first chiropractic adjustment at two days old while my father was finishing his D.C. degree. My brother is a chiropractor and currently practices just north of the Kansas City metro area. I have over 15 years of experience in sales, marketing and customer service and I am looking forward to partnering with you on your journey here at Cleveland.
Hi, I am Erica Wagner and I am the admissions coordinator for Cleveland University-Kansas City. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a hotel and restaurant management degree, and I also have an associate degree in culinary arts. I am originally from Texas, and lived in Arizona and Washington before moving to Kansas City. I am a very creative person and love any type of visual art. As an athlete growing up, health and wellness was extremely important to me and now has become a major part of who I am. I am a certified personal trainer and wellness/holistic health coach. Therefore, naturally I am an advocate for chiropractic care. In my free time I practice yoga, run 5Ks, kayak, hike, paint, cook extravagant dinners for my friends, and find as much time as possible to be with my family.
