Advance your knowledge and broaden your approach to practice with acupuncture. Beginning in March, and concluding in October, this program will deliver all of the instruction necessary to help you be successful with acupuncture treatment for your patients. The program will be led by Dr. Eric Waltemate a private practitioner from St. Louis with more than 15 years of experience in the discipline. All sessions will be held on the CUKC campus. CE approval pending in Kansas and Missouri.
Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dr. Waltemate is a 2002 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Mo. After graduation, he went into private practice in southeast Missouri. He received his first acupuncture certification from Logan in 2004, and a second in 2005. He also received a diploma in 2005, from The Institute of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture in Santa Monica, Calif. He went on to complete a preceptorship with Dr. Marcy Goldstein, a medical doctor who was trained by renowned British acupuncturist, Dr. J.R. Worsley. In 2010, he opened a new practice in Swansea, Ill., focused on acupuncture and Chinese medicine. He purchased Goldstein’s Creve Coeur, Mo., practice in 2012, and now divides his time between the two locations.
