Postgraduate Programs are restricted to doctors who have graduated from chiropractic degree programs. Full-time students currently enrolled in chiropractic degree programs may attend specific postgraduate programs if they meet appropriate prerequisites and attain prior approval by the Postgraduate Office. To register, doctors must give chiropractic license numbers and students must show current student identification. You may register for Postgraduate Office programs by phone or fax, or through email at the contact information provided below. All tuition information is available with the description of each program. Certain programs are offered at a discounted rate if registration and payment has been received at the University by the designated early registration date.

The Postgraduate Office routinely requests Chiropractic Licensing Agency approval for a program in the state in which it occurs. Additional Chiropractic Licensing Agency approvals may be applied for. Applying for approval does not assure continuing education credit/license renewal approval. Before attending a Cleveland University-Kansas City sponsored program for continuing education credit/license renewal, always check with your state licensing agency or call the Postgraduate Office to verify your state licensing agency approval. It is the responsibility of the participants to ensure each program is approved in the state to which they wish to receive credit. If your state licensing agency has not been applied to, please contact the Postgraduate Office for further information and requests. If there is a fee associated with applying to a particular state licensing agency it may be the participant’s responsibility to pay the fee in order to receive the state licensing agency approval.
Postgraduate program fees are noted in program descriptions and do not include textbooks or additional materials, unless otherwise noted. In addition, certification programs may require the passing of the final exam prior to completing the program. Depending on the hosting program’s guidelines, there may be a fee and time frame associated with the final exam in addition to the program registration fee.
All requested information on the registration form must be filled out in order for the University to officially register each participant for a program. It is strongly advised to pre-register for programs by the designated early registration date. It is also important for program planning purposes to receive your pre-registration information in case of program cancellation or postponement.
Fax your registration and credit card information to (913) 234-0904.

Chiropractic college students planning to attend programs through the Postgraduate Office should check the eligibility requirements listed on the website for the individual program or contact the office directly. Most courses require the student be the equivalent of a Tri V or above in order to participate. Students are required to register in person in the Postgraduate Office in the Foundation Suite on the 3rd Floor.
Refunds for programs previously attended will not be given.
Single Program Registration: Refunds, less a $50 administrative fee, will be issued upon request if received more than seven calendar days prior to the event. There will be no refunds permitted after that time. Registrations may be transferable to other courses or other participants.
Multi-Session Program Registration: After prepaying multiple sessions to receive the discounted pricing, Cleveland University-Kansas City will calculate the refund, less a $50 administrative fee, for the remaining unattended sessions. The refund request must be received at least seven calendar days prior to next session. Program registrations may be transferable to another course.
The Postgraduate Office is required by Chiropractic Licensing Agencies to verify attendance at each postgraduate program. Attendees will be expected to sign in and out with the program monitor and remain in the classroom throughout the program. If attendees arrive late, leave early, or do not remain in the classroom for any portion of the program, the Postgraduate Office is required to deduct the appropriate number of hours from attendance. Hours of attendance will be determined by the documentation provided by the program monitor. The number of hours will be automatically reduced if the sign in/out sheet is not completed properly. Certificate of Completion is issued for the actual hours of attendance only.
Program attendance hours are documented by the use of sign in/out sheets monitored by assigned proctors. Failure to comply with the required attendance procedures or failure to remain in the classroom or teaching facility may result in a prorated or loss of credit hours reported. Certificates of completion will be issued for the documented hours only. Cleveland University-Kansas City ensures compliance with all State Board rules and regulations, including program attendance procedures.
After verification of attendance using the sign in/out sheets, one certificate of completion will be mailed to each attendee and/or the appropriate State Board. Attendees are responsible for maintaining a copy for their records.
The Postgraduate Office will process requests for additional or replacement certificates of completion through the following steps:
The Certificate of Completion Request Form, completed in full, must be included with payment of $35 U.S. per certificate. The request must be submitted by email, mail or fax. Please allow two weeks for certificate creation and mailing. If we are sending a certificate of completion to someone other than the participant, a photocopy of the certificate of completion will be mailed to the participant at the address given in the Certificate of Completion Request Form.
