An article penned by Dr. Steve Agocs, associate professor at Cleveland University-Kansas City, was published in the Summer 2016 issue of the peer-reviewed journal, Chiropractic History, which was released in June. Chiropractic History is the scholarly journal of the Association for the History of Chiropractic (AHC).
Titled “Cleveland’s Rabbits: The Use of Animals to Study Vertebral Subluxation,” the article outlines the story of Dr. Carl S. Cleveland Jr.’s pioneering use of animal models to study the effects of vertebral subluxations and their correction.
The journal can be found in the campus library or sent to your home for members of the AHC.
