To show gratitude for the countless hours students devote to serving the College, their communities and the chiropractic profession, CCCLA held a special recognition ceremony Nov. 10. The annual event honors the ongoing commitment to service shown by Cleveland students throughout the year.
Michael Brown, the College’s executive director of Student & Alumni Relations, organized the event. Outstanding service awards were presented to 25 students during the ceremony.
“Recipients included past and present Student Council officers, club and organization presidents, and peer mentors,” Brown said. “These students are fulfilling the College’s mission of providing service by volunteering their time to help their peers, the community and the profession as a whole. It’s important their accomplishments and dedication be acknowledged and celebrated.”
Each of the student honorees received a certificate of recognition. Among those acknowledged were peer mentors, cabinet members of clubs and organizations and Student Council officers.
The special recognition ceremony was by invitation only and was held in the Private Dining Room. Local eatery, Home Restaurant, provided a catered lunch of meatloaf, Tuscany chicken, Caesar salad, garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables and dinner rolls.
