One positive, fulfilling thing I heard when I started in the CUKC student clinic is “I feel like I can move better and it doesn’t hurt anymore.” That was a quote from a fellow student after receiving an adjustment from me. Yes, I’ve heard this in technique classes before, but it meant something different hearing it in the student clinic. I am their doctor. I am evaluating their care plan, assessing them, and deciding on the proper treatment. I give advice. I adjust them.
