Two Cleveland alums were recognized at the Kansas Chiropractic Association (KCA) fall convention in October. Receiving awards for 2011 were Dr. Ray Conley ’72, who was named KCA “Doctor of the Year.” A member and former president of the KCA Kansas City Metro District, Conley was appointed to the Kansas Board of Healing Arts by Governor Bill Graves in 2002, and is currently in his third term there.
Dr. Frank Jimenez ’04, was named KCA’s “Young Doctor of the Year.” Jimenez just ended a two-year term as President of the Kansas City Metro District of the KCA and is also a board member of the Kansas Chiropractic Foundation.
The two were nominated for their respective honors by their colleagues, based on their contribution to the profession. The awards were presented at the KCA awards banquet during the convention held at the Doubletree Hotel in Overland Park. Conley practices in Overland Park, and Jimenez in Lenexa.
