Admissions personnel from both the Los Angeles and Kansas City campuses represented Cleveland Chiropractic College at the 2010 Bi-Annual National Association of Advisors for Health Professionals Convention in June in Atlanta, Ga.
Melissa Denton, Cleveland-KC director of admissions, and Angela Mughal, admissions advisor at Cleveland-LA, were in attendance to educate and inform the advisors assisting undergraduate students with information about the chiropractic profession and the College.
“We shared information about our educational degree programs, made contacts for recruiting presentations and encouraged articulation agreements,” Denton said. “It was a very valuable experience.”
The National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions is an organization of over 900 health professions advisors at colleges and universities throughout the United States. More than 200 counselors and advisors attended the event in downtown Atlanta.
