Cleveland University-Kansas City (CUKC) is pleased to join the Kansas Independent College Association (KICA) in support of the “Apply Kansas” initiative in 2022. This involves waiving the application fee during September and October, to encourage prospective students to pursue higher education at one of the state’s independent colleges. Waiving the fee helps encourage first-generation students, low-income students, and students who might not otherwise apply to college, to pursue a college education.
Launched in 2015 as part of the 50-state American College Application Campaign, the “Apply Kansas” initiative is intended to increase the number of students who apply to college early in their senior year of high school. The program seeks to ensure that more Kansas residents have college degrees.
Founded in 1922 by the Cleveland family, Cleveland University-Kansas City (CUKC) is a recognized leader in chiropractic and health sciences education. CUKC is a private, nonprofit, regionally accredited institution of higher education with a mission focused on health promotion through education, scholarship, and service.
