Seminars are courses or certifications offered outside of our academic realm that can be attended by most chiropractic students and used in our offices.
I had the privilege of attending a seminar one weekend with my field doctor/mentor. He drove in from western Kansas and we sat through an amazing 15 hours of demonstrations and explanations from Doctor of Chiropractic Alan Bonebrake. No, I’m not making this up. His real name is Dr. Bonebrake.
The seminar topic was reflexology, acupuncture and biomechanics. I didn’t really know what to expect at first, but we were shown some mind-blowing, simple things a chiropractor can do to get improvement and results out of their patients fast. My doctor was just as amazed as me. We both left the seminar re-energized and excited about what we had just learned.

Becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) at CUKC
Cleveland University-Kansas City (CUKC) is a private, nonprofit university specializing in chiropractic and the health sciences. In addition to a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree you can complete in 3.3 years, some students choose a concurrent B.S./Chiropractic degree (D.C.) program that can reduce the amount of time in school by up to a year.
