Dr. Daniel Redwood, a professor of clinical sciences at Cleveland University-Kansas City (CU-KC), wrote an opinion piece that was recently published in The Kansas City Star. Titled “Tough Choices Ahead on Medicaid Reform,” the article ran on page A17 of the Nov. 13, 2013, issue of the newspaper. It was included as part of the editorial section’s popular “As I See It” series.
Redwood is the editor-in-chief of Health Insights Today, Cleveland’s web-based health and wellness newsletter, and is a distinguished author. His first chiropractic textbook, “Contemporary Chiropractic,” was published by Churchill Livingstone in 1997, and his second, “Fundamentals of Chiropractic,” which he co-authored with Dr. Carl S. Cleveland III, president of CU-KC, was published by Mosby in 2003.
Redwood was one of the founding editors of The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, an international, Medline-indexed scholarly journal. He is an associate editor of Topics in Integrative Healthcare, and a member of the American Chiropractic Association’s editorial advisory board.
