Biography
Jessica Ramirez serves as vice president of advancement at Cleveland University-Kansas City. A native of Kansas City, she holds a Master of Arts degree in Management and Leadership. She has more than 20 years of nonprofit and executive leadership experience in fundraising, special event planning, grant writing, board development and campaign management. In 2005, Ramirez was honored as one of “Kansas City’s Up-and-Coming 25 Hispanics” by Dos Mundos Bilingual Newspaper and Sprint. She was appointed to the Jackson County (Mo.) Community Children’s Services Fund board by the Jackson County Executive, where she serves as vice president. In addition, Ramirez and her two sons are feline fosters with the Kansas City Pet Project.
