Mr. Peterson received his B.S. in biology, with a minor in chemistry, and his M.S. in biology from Missouri State University. His research focus was molecular genetics, and gene regulation in the mammalian immune system. Peterson has worked as a microbiologist in multiple industry settings including food safety and pharmaceutical. He has taught microbiology for pre-healthcare students in North Carolina, and currently teaches a variety of biology-related courses in the College of Health Sciences at Cleveland University-Kansas City. In his spare time, Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children, studying related sciences and philosophies, and fishing.
