Dr. Segovia received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology in 1995 and was engaged in social work with adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness for several years before attending chiropractic college. She enjoys helping people, and wanted to pursue a new career in which she could assist others. She discovered chiropractic, and fell in love with the chiropractic lifestyle. Segovia graduated from Cleveland University-Kansas City in 2016 with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, and practiced in Lee’s Summit, Mo., prior to returning to Cleveland as a Chiropractic Teaching Fellow. In addition to chiropractic, Segovia is board certified in acupuncture and is a Fellow of the Acupuncture Society of America. Away from work, she stays busy spending time with her son, Zach, and enjoys reading and exercise.
