Sara earned a B.S. in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri in 1996, and later earned an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University in Orange, Calif. She spent several years teaching in elementary and early childhood settings while living around the U.S., and for a short time in Europe. In 2010, Manion chose to pursue a career in healthcare, and earned an A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology from Colorado Technical University in 2012. Since then, she has worked as a radiologic technologist in various capacities for a large, family practice in Johnson County Kan. Her responsibilities there have included orthopedics, pain management, and administrative work for the imaging department. She served as an adjunct instructor at CUKC before accepting the role of Clinical Coordinator. Manion spends her spare time with her three children, trail walking, working out at the gym, and cake decorating.
