Parents understandably want peace of mind when sending their students to institutions of higher learning, whether it be general parental concerns or curiosities, or if they're helping to finance the education, making sure they get the most out of their investment. We've anticipated some of the more common questions parents may ask and compiled them here.

Does Cleveland have a dress code?

Yes. Our student handbook elaborates on the required dress, but the public expectations of a student chiropractor and a representative of the profession are considerably higher than you might realize. The dress code will contribute to your student’s overall professional development.

Where can students eat on campus?

  • Café Cleveland. Open from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily.
  • Students are welcome to bring their own lunch. There are vending machines and microwaves available to them.

What does tuition cost for one trimester/semester?

  • For the Undergrad Program? Tuition for 12 credit hours costs $2,820.
  • For the DC Program? Tuition on average is $9,073.

What services are available to students?

  • Campus SecurityThe College provides full-time security and is centrally located on the 2nd floor, south entrance. The Campus Safety Committee helps provide a safe environment. For more information, click here.
  • Cleveland Fitness Center – Students have access to work out free of charge.
  • Success Strategies – Provided by the Office of Professional Development. Offers career resources, practice development and business training. To learn more click here.

  • Free parking is provided on campus.
  • The University is a smoke-free campus.
  • The University provides free wireless internet service on campus. Many students use laptops in class to complete notes, exams and access the Cleveland Connect student portal.

Is tutoring available to students?

Yes. Students have access to free tutoring. Cleveland is committed to the success of your student and this means they must have a good understanding of the curriculum.

How do students find out about new student orientation?

This information is given to students in their registration packet. It is also listed in the student handbook.

How does enrollment work?

Upon completion of registration, students are automatically enrolled in their classes. This happens about a month before a given trimester start date.

Are Financial Aid and Scholarships available to students?

Yes, Cleveland is dedicated to helping your student meet his or her goals. There are a variety of scholarships and loans available. To find out more click here.

  • Campus closings are announced on local radio and TV stations.

  • Announcements are delivered through email, the Cleveland Connect student portal, digital signage and in assemblies.

It’s an online student portal that displays their classes, schedule, announcements, student accounts and financial aid items.
