As you prepare for life as a graduate student in a chiropractic college, one of the things you may be considering is buying a new laptop. Another aspect of getting ready for the D.C. degree is to check out the tech expectations at your school. You’ll want to do this before making any purchasing decisions about electronic decisions! The Doctor of Chiropractic program (DCP) at Cleveland University-Kansas City (CUKC) is using electronic exam software, Examsoft SoftTest-M.
CUKC alumnus Dr. Ryan Grenier
This software is available for a free download in the Apple iTunes Store and will allow students and faculty to monitor progress throughout the trimesters. Due to the numerous students on campus already using iPads, they have been adopted as the electronic device of choice for the testing software. So, as you venture out to buy a new iPad, make sure to follow these requirements:
Fall 2019 iPad Minimum System Requirements
Examplify also supports Windows and Mac OS X
The below MSRs will take effect with the release of Examplify version 3.7.0.
*Note: the software will run on an IPad mini 2+, however, this is not the best choice for the testing software.
The implementation of the new electronic exam system is highly beneficial to students and faculty. Students can keep track of their progress throughout the trimester and receive immediate feedback on exams or assignments. For the faculty, they can monitor a student’s progress and provide immediate support for a student if necessary.
Hopefully, this blog from a doctor of chiropractic who has been where you are has helped narrow down your electronic “wish list.”
