When I first started thinking about attending Cleveland University-Kansas City (CUKC), I was a little hesitant. It was a big decision to make. I would have to quit my job, move to a new state, and commit to going to school full-time again. All of those decisions should not be taken lightly. I was not ready to commit to such a huge life change until I had seen the University for myself and knew that it was the right fit for me. So, I got on the website and got some more information. I set up a time to take a tour and I haven’t looked back since.
Touring CUKC gave me an opportunity to get a good idea of what it would be like to be a student in the College of Chiropratic. It gave me a chance to ask questions that I didn’t even know I had. Everyone I met was so welcoming and helpful that I quickly became eager to become a student as soon as I possibly could.
No matter how helpful and informative the website is, I think it is nothing like seeing it in person. Like I said before, picking a school is a big life decision. You are picking a place that will shape not only your career but who you are as a person. You will form friendships that will last you a lifetime. No matter who you are, the school you pick will have a lasting impression on you.
After my tour of CUKC there was no doubt in my mind that I had found the right place for me. I have never regretted my decision at all. So, if you are considering CUKC, I encourage you to schedule a tour and see what it’s all about.
Becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) at CUKC
Cleveland University-Kansas City (CUKC) is a private, nonprofit university specializing in chiropractic and the health sciences. Our chiropractic history started in 1922, and today, more than one out of every 10 chiropractors in the United States have earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from our College of Chiropractic.
In addition to a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree, you can complete in 3.3 years, some students choose a concurrent B.S./Chiropractic degree (D.C.) program that can reduce the amount of time in school by up to a year.
